The only debts left to collect in small towns are consumer debts such as Doctors, Dentists, optromotists and garages debts. Most of the larger debts are being collected by agencies in the bigger cities.

Most of the bigger companies in Timaru use out of town debt collection agencies at the expense of local companies like Debtor Communications.
We have been forced to put Debtor Communications on the market and if it gets sold to someone outside of Timaru then more people will lose their jobs.
