Who audits the auditors?
When you look at the different organisations in Timaru you will find the same group of people involved in the hierarchy of the town. Many of them are either self appointed to their positions or nominated by their associates or friends. It seems that Timaru has bred a generation of people who have learnt how to use the system of Government to satisfy their own personal interests at the expense of those who remain apathetic to what is happening to them and the community around them.
Time to blow the whistle
I have been watching from the sidelines for sometime using the letters to the Editor to vent my frustrations at the corruptions that I see happening in Timaru. After a while I realised that the Editorial staff of the Timaru Herald were part of the problem because they were biased and were not listening to the people who are subscribers to their publication. Because of my outspoken personality I have built a reputation amongst the hierarchy as a policical activist and stirrer. Now that the Timaru Herald and I have parted company I have started to publish my own publication once again. This time the content will be about my investigations and the answers to those awkward questions that the hierarchy don’t like to answer.
Timaru Directory News
I have spent 5 years building this website www.timarudirectory.co.nz
It is the fastest growing website in Timaru which is currently enjoying 1.5 million hits P.A. The Timaru Directory News is a hard copy sister to this blog and it is currently being delivered free to households. The first issue was the Timaru Southend Community News which was a double sided A4 black and white publication that was distibuted over the long weekend. The content was all about the save the century pool appeal that I am leading. It contained the family names and streets of all those who had made a donation towards the appeal. The next publication of the Timaru Directory News will distributed in the Gleniti area and it will be called the Timaru Gleniti Community News.
Funded by the people for the people
The promotion of each community and the publication of the newsletter is made by voluntary donations from the residents in the area. I canvass from door to door collecting donations for the cause and once I have got 100 supporters I print and distribute the publication of 500 copies. From the donations I also promote part of the community such as a school, sport or recreation. I promote the community on the Timaru Directory website.
Give generously if I call at your house all proceeds go towards making Timaru better place to live.

No one thinks you’re a “policical (sic) activist” Ron. Everyone just thinks you’re an idiot. You get that many hits because people enjoy watching you descend faster and faster into crazy-dom. You’re a ranting looney-tune.
