Learn to Read with Ronnie B

Reading
Did you know that 30% of the world’s population can’t read. In New Zealand 10% of the population can’t read and over 70,000 of those are children
To help with this challenge I am writing a series of educational books using real photographs of New Zealand animals. The first book is called “Talking to the Animals with Ronnie B” In the book I ask each animal a question and the animal replies with their answer. The text and the photos are both large and because each photo has a message of its own laced with some humour the reader is able to associate the photo with the text and will eventually learn to read.

Not sold in Stores
The books will not be available in retail stores because they are being published for children and adults with special needs and it is hoped that funding will eventually be available to make them free to all those around the world that can’t read or are ill in hospital. The first book published is an ebook and is full of photos of different breeds of dogs in New Zealand. Books about other New Zealand animals will follow.

Free Books
During the launch of the first book complimentary copies are being sent around New Zealand and overseas. If you know of someone who finds reading difficult and would like to receive a free copy of “Talking to the Animals with Ronnie B “ then email me:  ron@timarudirectory.co.nz  and I will return your email with a copy of the ebook.
