PHAR LAP NOW A ZEBRA

The reason I am writing this letter is because I’m angry I’m angry because thanks to someone in Seadown with a very small brain Phar Lap has now been turned into a Zebra. Those responsible for the vandalism would appear to have the same size brain as those who insulted Phar Lap when they used double meaning swear words on the entrances to their Seadown Road properties. There are 44,000 people who live in the Timaru district and many travel past the Phar Lap bronze statue at Washdyke on a regular basis Can you believe that there is not one person in Timaru that cares enough about Phar Lap to pick up a garden house, give the bronze statue a hose down and fill up his pond with water. I am currently writing children’s animal books using local photographs as images. My Phar Lap book will be a good children’s story book because Phar Lap will be born in Seadown as a Zebra and finish in Washdyke in an empty pond coated in dust and mud.
