ABOUT THE AUTHOR

This is a true story about a man who built a business from scratch and after 16 years of providing employment for others and a service to the community he lost his business his pride and the equity in his joint family home because of the cruel personal grievance clause in what he has called the one sided law.

This courageous businessman finally said no to the one sided law and  challenged the intimidations of his employee, the police, several solicitors, a barrister and a judge. Without having any training or legal advice he was forced to do all the legal work himself that was necessary to represent his wife, his family and himself before the labour department, the New Zealand employment relations authority and finally the employment court.
Ron is now writing this book from personal experience in the hope that every employer and employee in the country will read it and come to realise that the N Z employment relations act is the most one sided, destructive and non productive laws in the country.  He is currently seeking other employment stories for his book together with much needed moral support as he continues his campaign for a fairer law for the NZ employer.
