PHAR LAP BRONZE STATUE

Phar Lap needs your support to keep his legend alive in his home of Timaru. Much work has been done to build 2
statues in memory of this world champion racehorse. One carved in limestone
and placed on the ground where he was born and another life like image with
his jockey cast in bronze on the racecourse bearing his name.
We now need to promote these great images of Phar Lap to tourists around the world and we also need more funds to finish the work on the sites. With this goal in mind we are appealing to the friends of Phar Lap to make a contribution to help us complete the work of promoting this great world champion in the district where he was born.
